Human Created. AI Delivered.
How Carbon University uses artificial intelligence in course production and delivery.
Carbon University applies a Human Created, AI Delivered approach to course production.
The educational substance of our courses—including subject selection, research direction, course structure, learning objectives, analysis and substantive content—is developed and overseen by people with relevant knowledge and experience.
How AI supports delivery
We use artificial intelligence and AI-enabled production tools to support parts of the delivery and production process. Depending on the course, these tools may assist with digital presenters, voice generation, translation, subtitles, transcription, graphics, formatting and adaptation of content for different digital channels.
Why we use these tools
This approach helps Carbon University reduce course production time and cost, update educational material more quickly as carbon markets evolve, and make courses available to a broader and more diverse global audience.
AI-assisted production can also increase the inclusiveness and accessibility of Carbon University by supporting additional languages, formats and digital delivery methods that would otherwise be significantly more costly or time-consuming to produce.
Human responsibility
AI is used principally as a delivery and production tool rather than as a substitute for human responsibility for educational content. Carbon University remains responsible for the courses it publishes and seeks to maintain appropriate human oversight of educational content produced through AI-enabled workflows.
